God War Saga Collection Playstation 3
God of War is without a doubt, the best game of its kind. The game play is fluid, controls responsive, and graphics top notch. This collection is a must buy for any enthusiast of either Playstation, or action fighting game s.html" target="_blank">game s like this. The story is so deep and interesting, that it will move you at times, and your anti-hero Kratos is just absolutely fantastically crafted in every detail of graphics, and personality and history behind him.
Now, this collection's MSRP is $40. I paid that much, and well, its quite worth it actually! You get 5, full game s.html" target="_blank">game s , as well as the director's commentary videos that come with the 2 PSP ports, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. On one disc, you get GOW 1 and 2, which are PS2 ports, and on a second disc, you get GOW 3. The ports are fabulous, especially the PSP ports, and everything works great. My only gripe, is that they didn't advertise the PSP ports as DOWNLOADS, and that they didn't include a voucher for the PSP/PSVita versions. But, no biggy there, atleast for me. The cool thing that I just found out though, is that they added remote play capabilities for GOW 1 and 2, for PSVita only. But still, that's a nice addition...
So, in conclusion, if you're dying to brush up on your God of War for the up coming Ascension, then this is the way to go, even if you already have GOW 3.
Great game collection. everything is new and the vouchers codes are there. Too bad that they must be used before march 30th. eventhough it's a great collection but if u want the psp remastered game they are downloadable.

ReplyDeleteIn this collection you get all 5 God of War games, a series I and many would argue is the best in gaming history. The games are in the hack n' slash genre of which they have no parallel being the most beloved, most critically acclaimed and best selling in the genre of all time. The games feature epic battles, beautiful visuals, fantastic gameplay, clever puzzles, stunning music and an amazing story based on Greek mythology about the story of Kratos.

ReplyDeleteI bought this game on Sunday and it arrived yesterday. The code for the two downloaded games is set to expire on 3/31/13 but I entered it into my PS3 and was able to download the games without issue. The price has dropped an additional $5 since Sunday so its well worth the money for 5 great games.
ReplyDeleteGod of War Saga Collection If you are into this type of game genre then this collection is a must buy for you. There is so much fun game play in this package and for the price it is selling for, you should not pass it up.
ReplyDeleteYou get all the God of War games and game extensions in one bundle. There is one thing though that other reviewers are complaining about that everyone interested should know before purchasing. Within the disc case you get two cd's that contain, God of War collections 1 and 2, God of War 3 and a download voucher for the God Of War extension games, Chain of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. Now, if you have little space on your PS3 drive then you will have to delete some other programs to make room for these huge files and/or if you have a slower internet connection it could take quite some time to download. Just remember, "this voucher is time limited", it has an expiration date of 3/31/2013.
Some gamers with no internet connection obviously would not be able to take advantage of the voucher but, for the price you still get God of War 1-3 which is still a bargain and a lot of fun game play in my eyes...you will not be disappointed.

If you haven't played God of War then I envy you, because you're in for a real treat. This is one of the best franchises Playstation has to offer. These five games will easily take you 30+ hours total to go through. The story, action, graphics and gameplay is top notch. Keep in mind, two games are download only (the PSP games), but they are quite good as well. Buying just the two PSP games online is $40, so this is a savings unto itself if you haven't played the PSP games. A great collection for any new Playstation 3 owners, or a nice addition for avid Playstation 3 fans.
